Amina and James’s boat wedding was an elegant, timeless celebration that brought all the vibes on the Moshulu in Philadelphia. While their day was classy, it definitely wasn’t stiff or too formal. It was actually a relaxed and intimate kind of elegance, which is tricky to pull off, but they did it flawlessly! The couple and their guests brought such good energy and everything about the day was simply INCREDIBLE!

They decided to have a first look, and let me tell you, it was everything! The beautiful location surrounded by Philly’s stunning architecture and the love you could feel – AMAZING!

Amina & James had a smaller guest list, which made the whole day feel super intimate and special. They chose to have a super small wedding party as well, keeping it small with just a Maid of Honor and a Best Man, which I found so sweet. Being surrounded by the closest of the closest people is a beautiful feeling.

The ceremony and reception were both held on the beautiful Moshulu. And I LOVED it! The food was sooo good, and it felt like being on a boat without the seasickness! Overall the experience was very PHILLY and very elegant. 

As the sun set, we captured some of the most stunning photos on the deck of the Moshulu. The golden hour light was just perfect! The reception was so dreamy – the details were absolutely stunning. Blue and white floral arrangements, elegant place settings, and twinkling lights made everything feel like a fairy tale. And the cake? It was almost too pretty to eat (almost).

The reception was a blast, filled with heartfelt toasts, good food, and lots of laughter. Amina and James’s love for each other shone through every moment, and their friends and family were the best hype squad. Both of them are such kind and sweet people, and I feel so lucky to have been part of their special day.

They have five different event spaces that can fit your wedding size and theme. And let’s not forget the beautiful water views! Also, they do their catering in house. They offer everything from hors d’oeuvres to plated meals, cocktail receptions, and dessert services. And like I said before, the food was to die for!
