Capturing Danielle and David’s New York City engagement photos was nothing short of amazing!! They wanted to capture their favorite spots in their neighborhood, and it was such a blast. We visited their favorite local bar and finished up at Astoria Park for pizza and sunsets! It was easily one of the BEST sunsets you could get, casting a dreamy glow over Astoria Park.

Danielle & David’s Bar Engagement Photos at Sweet Afton

Danielle and David decided to kick off their engagement shoot at their favorite local bar, Sweet Afton. This spot is super cozy and has all the cool, laid-back vibes you could want. 

Quick tip: if you’re planning a similar session, def call ahead to get permission to shoot at Sweet Afton like we did. The bar was super accommodating, and the photos came out stunning!! The intimate, playful, and romantic moments we captured were everything!

Playful New York City Engagement Photos in Astoria Park

After we wrapped up at Sweet Afton, we headed over to Astoria Park for pizza, sunsets, and all the fun vibes. The park offered the perfect backdrop for these New York City engagement photos. Danielle & David were so cuddly during their picnic, sharing pizza and some bubbly. It was sweet, playful, and absolutely authentic to who they are as a couple.

After we wrapped up the shoot, we went out to get some delicious burgers together and just hung out. These two are seriously the sweetest people, and it was such a joy to capture their love in a place that means so much to them. I LOVE how the bar vibes and the park vibes came together in this shoot. It felt so authentic and true to Danielle and David and I can’t wait to capture their wedding soon!
