Bring Your Pets
What better way to showcase your most authentic self than to include your fur babies in your engagement photos? Pets are family, and they bring such a sweet and happy vibe to the photos! Their adorable antics will bring out your genuine reactions and emotions.
Plus, we all know how photogenic they are, haha!
Do an Activity
Doing an activity you both love for your engagement shoot will allow those photos to feel more personal and true to you. Do you enjoy hiking? Let’s roam the woods together! More of a beach person? Let’s capture beautiful golden hour shots!
Love going to coffee shops, and bookstores, or chilling and drinking bears? We can include that! The idea is to pick something you both naturally enjoy doing together. That way your engagement photos will tell a story that is uniquely yours!
Bring Two Outfits
Why settle for one look when you can rock two? Having two different outfits can allow you to showcase different sides of your personalities or styles. One outfit could be more formal to show off that romantic vibe, while the other could be casual or themed to add a playful touch!
Having multiple outfits will totally change the whole vibe and you will have so much variety! The important part is that you feel good and comfortable in those outfits because that will also show in the photos!

Okay, hear me out on this one! There’s something incredibly romantic and magical about taking engagement photos after the sun has set.
In the calmness of the night, under the glow of the moon and stars, or bathed in the light from street lamps or even your car headlights, you can create dreamy photos that are impossible to do during daylight.
Whether it’s a sparkly cityscape in the backdrop, the peaceful solitude of the woods, or getting cozy by a campfire, those engagement photos will definitely be SO unique and beautiful!
Be Silly, Playful and Be YOU
Your engagement photos don’t have to be all serious and posed. Feel free to be yourselves and let your silly side shine through. These are the moments that capture genuine smiles and laughter, and playful banter.
