Jenna and Chase’s wedding was a moody, alternative celebration that broke the mold at the Palace at Somerset Park in New Jersey. This couple brought a vibe that was all about them being unapologetically themselves, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of incredible.
Their day was all-black, moody, and dark, but don’t think goth and spooky. It was actually an elegant and sophisticated kind of mood, which is difficult to achieve, but they absolutely nailed it! The couple also included a bunch of fun and personal touches, and the energy of the day was AMAZING!
With its stunning Georgian-style architecture, the palace offers a visually captivating backdrop that blends classic elegance with modern luxury. With its big columns and sprawling lawns, it’s got a classy and welcoming vibe.
Inside, it’s just as awesome! The ballrooms are huge, with high ceilings, chandeliers, and big windows that provide loads of natural light. Whether you’re planning a massive bash or something more chill and intimate, they’ve got you covered with spaces that can match whatever you’re dreaming of.
The venue team knows their stuff and is very easy to work with! They’re there to help you nail every detail, so you can focus on having a great time. And the food was also really good!
Jenna and Chase got married in January, so their reception and ceremony were indoors. The venue is perfect for winter weddings, but you can have your ceremony outdoors during the warmer months!
The aesthetic was on point—moody, alternative, and so sophisticated. The contrast was striking: the venue’s white columns against Jenna’s black wedding dress and Chase’s all-black suit. It was such an eye candy! Elegant yet edgy and undeniably gorgeous.
The first looks were just heart-melting. Jenna had this beautiful moment not just with Chase but also with her dad, stepdad, and brothers. It was a series of touching, emotional reveals, which were amazing to witness!
Jenna and Chase added some fun personal touches to their wedding day. They included Chase’s love for a good cigar by setting up a cigar bar. It added an old-school, classy vibe that perfectly complemented the night’s energy.
One of my personal favorite parts was the temporary tattoo station! Jenna and Chase LOVE tattoos and both have many of them, so they decided to share their love for ink with their guests. It was a hit – everyone was lining up to get one!
And when it was time to hit the dance floor, Jenna and Chase switched it up and changed into matching sweats! They danced the night away, surrounded by the incredible energy of their friends and family. Speaking of energy, the vibe of the entire group was just infectious! It was a night filled with love and so much fun!!
“WE LOVE THEM!!! They are so beautiful, I literally cried scrolling through 🥹 you captured our day so perfectly. We can’t thank you enough! You are so talented!”
