Why Cape May, NJ Is a Dream Engagement Session Location

Cape May is one of my favorite places to shoot for SO many reasons. The mix of charming architecture, cozy beach town vibes and those jaw-dropping shoreline views? You really get the best of everything.

Krystina and Vinny picked it because they wanted the perfect mix of romantic beach photos and a sweet, small-town feel. And, of course, Cape May delivered, BIG time. They even made a weekend getaway out of it, which I always recommend if you’re planning a destination engagement session in NJ!

Their Love Story (Because It’s Too Cute Not to Share)

Krystina and Vinny met through one of Krystina’s colleagues, who knew they were both single and had a hunch they’d hit it off. Spoiler alert: she was right. They went on one date and the rest was history!

They now live in Morristown and got engaged just before Christmas under the big tree in the Green, which is a Hallmark moment if I’ve ever heard one.

Emotive, Candid, and Full of Joy

From the second we started shooting, it was clear how in sync these two are. They’re fun, relaxed, and totally obsessed with each other in the best way. Every smile and laugh came naturally. And as a photographer, that’s my sweet spot; capturing real emotions and unposed moments that tell a story.

Their session had it all: giggles on the boardwalk, barefoot strolls in the sand, quiet moments with a glowing sky behind them. Literal magic.
