Reanna and Blake are the epitome of a book-loving, fun-loving couple, and capturing their library engagement photos at the Linderman Library was nothing short of a dream. They wanted something that screamed cozy winter vibes to contrast with their upcoming summery wedding, and honestly, could there BE a more perfect setting than a library? I’m obsessed with all the cozy, romantic, playful, and bookish vibes of the session!!

Reanna & Blake’s Linderman Library Engagement Photos

The couple discovered my work through their friends Nina and Lee, whose wedding I shot last October. Fun fact: Reanna was one of Nina’s bridesmaids!

Fast forward to their engagement shoot, and the energy was infectious. We laughed SO MUCH—it was a challenge to keep it down in the library! I grew up just 10 minutes from Lehigh University’s campus. I’ve been roaming these grounds with a camera since my teenage years, going on little photo dates with friends. Capturing Reanna and Blake’s library engagement photos here was full circle for me! I was so happy that the couple trusted me and gave me the creative freedom to go off in the space!! 

Once we got some cozy shots among the endless rows of books, capturing their playful and romantic sides, we went outside. The campus, with its stunning, castle-like architecture, provided the perfect backdrop for the second part of our shoot. 

And after Reanna and Blake received their photos, their bestie Nina, also texted me, telling me she loved the photos, too! I loved becoming friends with this beautiful bunch of people!

Booking Your Own Linderman Library Engagement Session at Lehigh University

For those of you wondering how we pull off having the engagement session at Linderman Library, here’s how I made it happen. Email the library help desk at Lehigh University and they will connect you with the right people.

Pro tip: Do this well in advance. Even though I managed to get permission with DAYS to spare, I recommend looking into it sooner than I did! Also, aim for an early morning session right when they open—this way, you minimize any disruption to students and get that beautifully soft morning light.
