Where do I begin with this one? Just picture this: a beautiful September day, fall is in the air, and we’re at the Centennial Farm Manor, an upstate New York wedding venue that’s just…chef’s kiss. Imagine saying “I do” with the incredible Catskills panorama as your backdrop, then turning around to party with your closest people in a GORGEOUS historical Manor. I can’t wait to tell you all about Hayley and Justin’s big day!
Roll back the clock, and you’ll find Hayley and Justin wandering the halls of Drexel. (Go Dragons!). They started as casual floor mates during sophomore year, as Hayley’s friend moved into the same suite as Justin. She saw Justin moving and thought he was cute! They went out to party with friends one night, and a friendly beer spill (or three) at the party by Hayley started the journey that led them to this special day.
Their love story unfolded amidst the everyday moments at Drexel, and it turned into a beautiful love that was destined to be celebrated amidst the beauty of their upstate New York wedding venue. It’s like one of those rom-coms where you just find yourself rooting for the leads from their very first meet-cute!

Let’s fast forward back to their wedding day. Hayley and Justin chose to celebrate their day at the Centennial Farm Manor in New York. Personally, I LOVED their venue choice! The views for the ceremony were absolutely INCREDIBLE! The Manor interior was vintage and just drop-dead gorgeous. I had so much fun capturing the detail shots using the props I found at the Manor.
There were tons of beautiful spots for all the photos, like a pond, a pool, and actual ruins- where Justin and Hayley had their first look.
Another thing I liked about the venue is that it allows overnight accommodations! So your wedding party and the closest people (up to 35 people) can stay there! Hayley and Justin had an intimate wedding of under 40 people, and most of them were able to stay the night comfortably.
One of my favorite things about being a New York wedding photographer is helping to make my clients’ vision come true and seeing how their day helps tell their love story.
Hayley and Justin chose to have a first look, and it was absolutely stunning, taking place at the venue’s historic ruins. They exchanged private vows, which was so sweet and intimate!
Justin also wanted to capture ‘gameday’ pics with the groomspeople, and those are always so much fun!
I love how every couple I’ve had the honor of capturing includes a little inside story on their big day. For Justin in Hayley, it was a Mastiha shot served up between dinner and dessert; a tradition inspired by their travels to Greece!
Another moment I’d like to highlight is when they both snuck out for sunset pics. The photos turned out amazing, but not only that – they later told me how much they appreciated the moment away from the party and just getting to spend a bit of alone time together. This is one of the pro’s of sneaking out for these kinds of photos!
Hayley and Justin were the kind of clients that became friends, and I’m so happy I got to be a part of their beautiful and intimate Catskills wedding day!!
“You did freaking incredible!! I mean, no surprise there -You did a really good job of jumping back and forth and making sure you got everything! It was everything we wanted and more!!…Those sunset photos were unreal. I’m happy we did them. That was honestly my favorite part of the day.. to escape and just reconnect. We’re so lucky to have you and befriended you as well!! You’re the freaking best!!”
