I’m bursting with excitement to share with you some of my all-time favorite city engagement photos taken in the heart of Philadelphia. It was a dreamy afternoon in September, and let me tell you, Amanda & Jesse’s session was pure magic from start to finish.

Amanda & Jesse’s Amazing City Engagement Photos

Amanda & Jesse found each other during the pandemic. These two lovebirds share a passion for travel and beachy getaways. And though Amanda was never really a city girly, Jesse introduced her to Philly’s charm, and she fell in love with it! They both are inseparable, exploring every city street while being silly and head-over-heels in love.

Shooting city engagement photos is always a vibe! Every nook and corner has its own charm, and Philadelphia does not disappoint! From the gorgeous fountain in Logan Square (which, BTW, gave me the most favorite photo I’ve ever taken) to the iconic Ben Franklin Parkway with the scenic Rodin Museum, every location was just such a treat to capture!

We ended the shoot on top of a parking garage in Philly to get some nighttime city skyline pics, and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how these turned out!

Okay, bestie, here’s the tea. What made this shoot extra special was Amanda and Jesse’s openness to all my ideas. We had an absolute blast romping around, finding new spots I’d been dyin’ to shoot at, and just living in the moment for their city engagement photos.

The couple gave me full creative control over their session, from the outfits, to the locations. Now, I’m always down for bringing my clients’ visions to life, because I want your photos to feel like YOU!! But there’s something to be said about the beauty that unfolds when you trust and release control to the artist. Because we can still bring your vision to life and maybe even better?
