Princeton Love Story: Where it All Began

It’s always fantastic when the venue holds meaning for the couple, and this one sure did! Kristen and Dom’s story is one for the books. They first crossed paths at The College of New Jersey during the final week of their Freshman year. From their very first sushi date in Downtown Princeton to saying their “I dos” just a block away, it’s amazing how life has a way of coming full circle! (P.S. Mercer Boathouse – Wedding Venue in Princeton, NJ

I cannot stress this enough – Mercer Boathouse is a gem! Set beside a beautiful lake and surrounded by a well-kept park, it gave classy and elegant vibes. It was a biiit crowded, but we managed to find perfect spots to hide away and capture these gorgeous wedding portraits!

The St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, where Kristen and Dom had their ceremony, was STUNNING, too! Plus, let’s not forget the luxurious Hyatt, where the bride and groom prepped for the big day. Seriously, it was gorgeous everywhere!

Memorable Moments of this Elegant Mercer Boathouse Wedding

Kristen and Dom’s wedding was filled with intentional touches that made their Mercer Boathouse wedding uniquely theirs. They had a classy champagne tower, and Dom wanted to take ‘gameday’ pics with his groomsmen, which were SO MUCH FUN!

During the reception, Dom sang to everyone with the band! But what tugged at my heartstrings the most was the thoughtfulness Kristen put into her attire. Her veil once belonged to her grandmother, and she wore her mother’s dress for the cake-cutting!

I truly admired all the family sentiments this wedding day had. From the bride’s attire to the fact that they live-streamed the ceremony for their family overseas so no one would miss out. It really was one of the sweetest and most intentional wedding days I’ve been a part of!
